- thanks for your comments, guys! :)
Thanks mandu, its pretty interesting that you use screen tone in a fairly unconventional way, its Im glad you understand the way of using ST only where its needed, alot of people make the mistake of practically colouring their comic in grey tones, which I personally think makes them loose their life/stop being focsed on the line art...
Eternalbeliever, although I'm biased, I'd say a sequential illustration course is pretty interesting if you want to learn how to tell stories with art. Must be warned though they dont teach you how to draw comics specifically. I knew someone who thought he was going into a 'how to draw a comic' course, and was disappointed. It teaches you the essentials for comics in the first year, but after that its more focused on characters/story structures/your own approach to telling a story.
Yubria, are the costumes you design completely taken from other costumes or do you add in your own designs too? I guessing so since you have all those different ideas for each race. I think I might try it in my next comic, I havnt made up my own costumes in a long time.

Theorah, have I officially thanked you for reading and commenting on my stuff? If not, thank you, very kindly. I once tried to 'color' a comic I did once with ST's, but that was at least a year ago when Manga Studio was fresh out of the box and I wanted to try everything at once! Thanks for complimenting on my style. It's 10+ years in the making. Ever since I was knee high to a garden gnome that I needed to create my own style to have any real credibility.

What a fun challenge it must be to explore other forms of story telling with art!

Interesting! I thought the course would be teaching you "how". Sounds like a really good course, but then If I decided to pursue it, I would probably have to go to a Uni thats really far from home. T_T
Oh and I have on a number of occasions coloured my comic with grey tones! XD I love traditional lineart though and hope one day, when Im confident enough, I can quit using tones all together.

I take a lot of ideas from everywhere- the historical fashion books (fancier clothes/armor) and movies, mostly. Although I try to sort of give it something a bit more original. A lot of times I'll come up with those ideas of why they're different long after I've already drawn it like that!
