- Thanks for your comments guys! ^_^
omg Tezzle Shawshank! I have seen that, but years and years ago, twas an awesome film :D Have you seen The Green Mile? thats my favorite Stephen King movie-thing :P It makes me bawl like a baby every time I watch it ^^;
Thanks eternalbeliever, this particular kingdom is based more around where I live (the Costsworlds area) whilst the musicless Kingdom was more based on Europe (or the photos I could get of it!). OMG I know, this is the most snow Ive ever seen before where I live! 0_0

Im updating early today since I'm going to be busy later on ^^ I really like the BGs on this page, although they are referenced from real life so thats the only reason they look good XD As I said to Eternalbeliever, the achitecture in this Kingdom is different to the musicless one, and is based from around where I live- so there are more cottages then houses, and lots of green hills!
Yesterday I finally got round to watching Slumdog Millionaire, which was as emotional as evryone says it is! It was quite sad but the ending was really happy, and as expected of Danny Boyle (the director)the film was very lively/refreshing/energetic! What I liked about it was that it was about an age old problem (upper and lower class citizens, poverty, money) but looked at it from a modern point of view (how the internet, tv shows and media have changed class distinction). It is always assumed that lower class people are generally not educated and have no interest in being so, because of where they grow up. But because of the internet and tv, everyone is able to access information now, so class distinction cant really be associated with education/culture in the same way it used to be...interesting!
Also, on another note, someone has built a snow pyrimid and sphinx in the park opposite our house...how cool is that??!! XD

As always, it's such lovely contrast when you pull out a wider palette. And I'm looking forward to find out what really DID happen then... (how sad! he broke his lute)

That's interesting, about P&P- I always liked the book so much because it shows very realisitically her thoughts as she's realizing she's falling in love with Darcy, and it really shows how embarrassed she is when she meets him again. However, I know of some people who don't like Lord of the Rings because of how slow some of the writing is, but, to each his own. :)
And here, I would say something about how having 1 ft of snow all thru the winter season is normal here, and how it's been a rare day that it gets above freezing, and how every year this person a town over sculpts something awesome out of snow (one year it was a giant eagle, another it was an old car...), etc. But I'll be nice and not rub in how much better the winters are out here and and instead say, "That's awesome, Theorah! I hope you enjoy it! (and I hope the roads don't get too bad out there. One big problem down south is that people have NO IDEA how to drive safely on snowy/icy/slick roads)"

You did a wonderful job with the buildings and trees. It's a very beautiful page.

I'm guessing the shopkeeper was going to say, "I hope you don't play Stairway to Heaven" because he'll have headed to the electronic lute section of the music store, as a homage to that scene in the Wayne's World movie. (I'm probably wrong and watch way too many movies.)
